Nostradamus - Prophecies and Predictions

Nostradamus or Michel de Nostredame, a French astrologer. He lived between 1503 and 1566. Nostradamus remained in the history of human civilization due to the interest he generated a number of prophecies that remain debated today. Another reason for our love of these mystical prophecies in the sixteenth century was the fact that his psychic predictions are interesting to read and not out of circulation since they were written!
Nostradamus was Catholic, although not born as such. His family converted to Catholicism from Judaism when Nostradamus was only 9 years old. He openly states in his work that he approved of the ceremonies of the Roman Church. His grandfather taught him many languages, including Latin, Greek and Hebrew. Nostradamus was introduced to the world of mathematics and astrology at an early age. He went on to earn a medical degree in 1529 and then became physician to Charles IX. It is believed that Nostradamus has developed extraordinary healing abilities.

Nostradamus made many accurate predictions during his lifetime. It is believed that he was able to reach a state of meditation in the late 40's years. This is the time when it is assumed that he had visions of the future and began to document them. He fashioned the document as a quatrain in Latin, French and Greek. He called it "Centuries" and published in 1558. He predicted both world wars and 18 quatrains he wrote on prophecies refer to a Third World War. Nostradamus wrote a total of 950 quatrains.

Prophecies and Predictions of Nostradamus

Pope Sixtus V: document with the predictions of Nostradamus were banned by the Roman Catholic Church in 1781. However, an incident connected with the Church, always comes up when considering the ability of the French mystic to predict accurately. In 1553 it is believed that Nostradamus came across a group of Franciscan monks. He suddenly fell to his knees and grabbed the clothes of a monk. The monk was Felice Peretti. The reason he gave for this behavior is that he had to obey "His Holiness." After nearly nineteen years after the death of Nostradamus, Felice Peretti became Pope Sixtus V.

Kennedy assassination: Some people believe that Nostradamus accurately predicted the assassinations of John and Robert Kennedy. Predictions were made 400 years before the accident. It is believed that they relate specifically to the assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 and his brother Robert F. Kennedy on June 5th, 1968, while celebrating his victory in the presidential election.

It is important to note that when reading the quatrains not specifically naming the name "Kennedy" and that prediction or prophecy could refer to a vast expanse of time. Experts debate whether the killings are fictional or factual. Assassination of Robert Kennedy had become "over night" when in fact he was shot early this morning.

World War III: One of the most popular predictions of Nostradamus on World War III. Although the date has been debated for centuries, the mere mention led to a reversal in many faiths. Some experts have interpreted the date of commencement of this war will be over in 1999. They pointed out the conflict in the Balkans at that time. Some others drew attention to the September 11, 2001, when the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York. Obviously, they are also wrong.

It also connects to the war alliance between "eagle" or the United States and "rooster" representing France. Quatrain refers to an alliance between England, Poland and Czechoslovakia. He predicted that the Allies would win and that peace will prevail for a long time afterwards. Only time will be able to prove that the Kosovo conflict and the attacks on the World Trade Center could spark World War III. According to various experts, Nostradamus predicted that this year will be 3786 or 3797.
